About Parent Advisory

• Provides families a structured way to share feedback with the Superintendent Dr. Marc Smith
• Supports transparency and strengthens community engagement
• Enhances communication between families and district leadership
• Encourages dialogue about student experiences and community needs

Who Attends Parent Advisory Council

• Parent representatives from campuses across FBISD
• District leadership who participate to listen, respond, and collaborate

Schedule and Frequency

• Parent Advisory Council meetings are held throughout the school year at scheduled intervals (quarterly)
• Dates and locations are communicated to parents in advance through email

FBISD encourages all stakeholders to participate in engagement opportunities that align with their interests. Through a centralized application process, individuals can express interest in committees, such as Parent Advisory, and initiatives and be considered for participation.
