Student VOICE Advisory Network

Ready to make a difference in your school community and represent your campus at the highest level? VOICES is your platform to lead, inspire, and create real change.
The Student VOICE Advisory Network (VOICES) is a superintendent-led initiative that brings together students from each of Fort Bend ISD's 12 high schools. Student VOICES Ambassadors participate in day-long meetings each month that develop leadership, advocacy skills, and stakeholder engagement.
Who This Is For
- Motivated students interested in leadership opportunities
- Current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students
What You’ll Experience
- Engage in Stewardship with our Superintendent
- Develop and present proposals addressing real needs in your school and district
- Collaborate with peers to research, discuss, and refine ideas
- Gather input from fellow students by hosting Campus Town Halls
- Transform ideas into actionable recommendations for district leaders through writing and presenting VOICES Proposals
- Help plan and lead the annual High School Student VOICES Summit
How To Apply
Applications open every year for the upcoming Cohort. Three students are selected to represent each FBISD high school.
- Applications to join Student VOICES for the 2026 - 2027 school year are currently closed.
- Applications for the 2027 - 2028 cohort will tentatively in Spring 2027.
