Building Strong Foundations in Mathematics

What Is Texas Math Academies?

Texas Math Academies strengthen instruction through research-based, TEKS-aligned practices grounded in the science of learning.

House Bill 2 (HB 2) requires all K–3 math teachers, principals, and instructional leaders to complete the academies by the 2030–31 school year

Program Content

  • Problem-solving and fluency

Structure
  • ~30 hours across 5 modules

  • Completed over one school year
