Software Licenses and Distribution

Overview: FBISD negotiates software contracts that offer software at discounted prices to FBISD departments for FBISD-owned computers.

 

Benefits and features: Some software contracts include software at no cost to students, faculty or staff for use on personal computers.  FBISD IT also offers department true up of software purchased, validates current license codes, bills for software purchased from FBISD IT, and provides direction and assistance for software installs.

 

Who is eligible to use the service: All audiences.

 

How to request access to the service: Departments should submit software orders, if applicable, through Self Service.
