Campus Lawn Services

Campus lawn services encompasses all grounds service provided to a location other than the services provided to the athletic spaces at middle and high schools. FBISD now has three grounds care partners with each partner being responsible for grounds maintenance in East, West and Central Zones of the District. The District entered into a new agreement for the 2015-2016 school year with these partners which will bring additional improvements to the services previously provided. Improvements include:

  • All portions of the campus MUST be serviced on the same day.
  • A clearer scope of service outlining expectations and tying them to specific months for completion.
  • An improved quality inspection process with faster responsiveness to service concerns.
  • Pre-emergent weed application by the District at targeted building locations to improve appearance between services.

The basic service matrix is outlined below. Currently, the District budgets to perform 37 mowing visits per site annually, far more than peer Districts. For more information about service definitions and requirements, please see the Description of Service document below.
