Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a clean, comfortable, and safe learning and working environment for FBISD students and staff.
Responsibility
We are responsible for maintaining FBISD facilities to the standard in which they were delivered.
About Our Department
Facilities operates four core disciplines working collaboratively to create extraordinary educational spaces everyday:
- Maintenance and Custodial addresses the physical and cleaning needs of the District's buildings.
- Grounds and Integrated Pest Management manages the school grounds and pest control services provided by outside partners and also provides direct grounds services to the athletic spaces at middle and high schools. In the event that pest control is required, please call 45599 during normal business hours or 45500 after hours.
- Auxiliary Support is responsible for moving furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) across the District and maintains the District's white vehicle fleet.
- Energy and Reservations work to balance building comfort with energy efficiency and manage after-hours use of District buildings.
