About Success Zone
Success Zone is an after-school enrichment program that offers students from across the district and community a unique opportunity to explore new talents, develop valuable skills, and expand their knowledge through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The program offers a wide variety of courses in areas such as arts and crafts, culinary, dance, fine arts, languages, STEM, and more. To support this mission, we partner with vendors in the community to create a dynamic and enriching learning environment for our students. No matter what your child’s interests are, we are sure you’ll find a class that your child will enjoy!

FAQs
Who can enroll in Success Zone classes?
Success Zone is open to all students in the community (district and non-district). Enrollment in Extended Day is not required to participate. If your child’s campus does not offer classes, families are welcome to register at a neighboring Success Zone campus.
What is the school dismissal procedure if my child is enrolled in Success Zone?
All classes are held on campus. Please notify your child’s teacher that they are enrolled in Success Zone. At dismissal, all Success Zone students will report to Extended Day, where staff will assist in transitioning them to their assigned class. Once class concludes, students who are not enrolled in Extended Day must be picked up by an authorized adult. Students enrolled in Extended Day will return to their designated group following class.
Can I enroll my child if he/she is a walker or a bike rider?
Due to safety, students are required to be picked up by an authorized adult listed in Eleyo, our registration system.
Is transportation provided for classes?
The program does not provide transportation.
Are families allowed to visit the classes? How will I know what my child is learning?
During registration, families will have access to a semester-at-a-glance schedule online. At the end of the semester, families will be invited to attend a class showcase to celebrate and experience what students have learned. Throughout the semester, vendors will also provide ongoing communication through email updates and/or take-home activities to keep families connected and engaged.
What happens if my child is on the waiting list? Will I be notified of the status of my child’s enrollment?
We monitor enrollment daily and fill openings as they become available. If a spot opens, families on the waitlist will be contacted in the order that registrations were received. Families are also welcome to contact our office at 281-634-4220 or email communityed@fortbendisd.gov for updates regarding their child’s enrollment status.
What is the process for requesting Success Zone classes to be offered at my child’s campus?
Our goal is to provide programming that reflects the needs and interests of our students and families. We welcome suggestions and requests and encourage families to submit them to communityed@fortbendisd.gov. Your feedback helps inform future planning and supports the growth and expansion of our program.
