Pre-K4 Limited Open Enrollment and Transfers

FBISD will offer intradistrict (FBISD residents) and interdistrict (non-FBISD residents) transfers to select campuses for the 2026-2027 school year. This provides students access to innovative programs beyond their zoned campus and allows families to explore specialized academic offerings aligned to their child's interests, strengths, and future goals.

Pre-K4 intradistrict (FBISD residents) schools: A limited number of seats are available for transfer applications in all Pre-K4 program schools for FBISD residents. To request a transfer, ask the ADA for the 2026-27 transfer form. Fill out the form and submitted to the school's ADA for approval.

• Students with parents and grandparents working in Fort Bend ISD can request a transfer form to our district for the 2026-27 school year after the child meets one of the state's Pre-K qualifying criteria with the campus ADA. The parent and legal guardian must complete all registration steps in SkywardQ and provide the required documentation to qualify.
• Pre-K4 interdistrict transfer (non-FBISD residents) schools: The following are the only campuses accepting out-of-district transfers during the 2026-27 school year: Armstrong, Barbara Jordan, Barrington Place, Brazos Bend, Cornerstone, Henry, Lakeview, and Meadows Elementary.
