What is Long-Range Boundary Planning?

Graphic with the headline: “Long-Range Boundary Planning is a strategic, multi-year process to align schools, resources, and student needs across the district.” Below are labeled icons representing key areas: “Student Enrollment Numbers” with a group of figures, “Money for Schools” with a dollar symbol, “School Space” with a school building, “Community input” with a speech cloud, and “Programs” with stacked books.

We are working to balance enrollment across the district.  In the process, we use student enrollment data, enrollment projections, school capacity, financial information, information about academic program placement, advisement from the School Boundary Advisory Committee (SBAC), and feedback from the community to determine final boundary recommendations for Board consideration.
