The absolute last day to make any change to an exam decision is February 27, 2026. No exam changes will be made after this date. College Board assesses a $40 late order or exam cancellation for any year-long or fall semester course exam requests after the regular registration period deadline (October 31, 2025). Any additional TEA AP Exam subsidy for students eligible for the reduced cost of an exam will be communicated mid-October.

August 12-September 5, 2025	STUDENTS JOIN AP CLASSROOM AP teacher provides access code for students to Join their AP Classroom. All FBISD students should be enrolled in AP Classroom by September 5, 2025.

August 12-October 31, 2025	REGULAR AP EXAM ORDER WINDOW No exam can be ordered for a student if the student has not: Made an exam decision in AP Classroom Paid for the AP Exam in Revtrak Students are encouraged to make their exam decision by October 20, 2025.

October 31, 2025	LAST DAY FOR AP EXAM REGULAR ORDER WINDOW No exam can be ordered for a student if the student has not: Made an exam decision in AP Classroom Paid for the AP Exam FBISD offers two payment plan options for students who cannot pay in full by this date. Students will submit a Payment Plan Request Form to their AP Coordinator and pay the 1^st installment to prevent cancellation of the AP exam. Students requesting an AP exam decision change must submit an AP Exam Change Form to their AP Coordinator BEFORE this date to avoid the $40 penalty (per College Board)

November 16, 2025-February 27, 2026	LATE AP EXAM ORDER WINDOW Eligible for students enrolled in FBISD AP classes: Students must complete an AP Exam Change Form and submit to campus AP Coordinator. A late exam fee of $40 per exam will apply (per College Board). All late exam orders must be paid in full before an AP Exam is ordered. Students requesting an AP exam decision from “yes” to “no” must submit an AP Exam Change Form to their AP Coordinator: a fee of $40 will be applied before any eligible refund is issued (per College Board).

January 23, 2026	*For Spring Semester Only Courses* All students should be enrolled in AP Classroom by this date

February 13, 2026	*For Spring Semester Only Courses* All students are encouraged to make an AP exam decision in their AP Classroom account by this date

February 27, 2026	FINAL AP EXAM ORDER DEADLINE Final day for all Spring Only and late AP Exam Orders for FBISD students enrolled in an AP course. All late exam orders must be paid in full before an exam is ordered. All payment plans must be paid in full (students will outstanding balances will be placed on a campus fine list) No AP exam changes will be accepted after this date

INFORMATION FOR HOME SCHOOL STUDENTS AND FBISD STUDENTS REQUESTING TO TAKE EXAMS FOR COURSES NOT OFFERED AT CAMPUS

Fort Bend ISD will accommodate AP Exam requests from FBISD district-zoned students in grades 9-12 who are not currently enrolled in an AP course at a FBISD high school.

Campuses offering this opportunity are limited to Austin, Bush, Dulles, and Hightower High Schools. A list of exam locations is below

To register to take an AP exam, complete the AP Exam Request Form. Campuses will accept payments during the window of November 3-7, 2025, only.

FBISD will not accept ANY AP Exam requests after October 31, 2025

In addition to AP Exams, FBISD wants to make families aware that there are multiple exam options for college credit. Please check with the college or university you are interested in attending. Many colleges offer a university-based exam for college credit on first and second level courses. In addition, College Board offers CLEP Exams for anyone age 13 or older; these exams are accepted at 2,900 colleges and can be conveniently taken at test centers year-round.
