Medical Science

The Medical Science Academy (Med Sci) provides a rigorous, college-focused learning experience for students with a strong interest in medicine, healthcare, biomedical science, and related health professions. The Academy prepares students to explore the many pathways within healthcare while developing the academic knowledge, practical skills, and professional awareness needed to pursue future careers in the medical and biomedical fields.

Through a four-year Biomedical Program of Study, students engage in a progressive sequence of challenging coursework that moves from foundational medical and biological concepts to more advanced topics in biomedical science, human health, anatomy, diagnostics, and patient care. Students have opportunities to connect classroom learning to real-world healthcare through hands-on experiences, industry partnerships, medical facilities, guest speakers, field trips, and career exploration.
