Enrichment Activities
Learning in the Global Studies Academy extends far beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, students participate in a variety of enrichment experiences that help them connect their learning to the world around them.
Enrichment opportunities may include:
- Guest speakers from international organizations, business, government, and higher education
- College and university visits
- Field experiences to museums, cultural centers, businesses, and community organizations
- Leadership development workshops and conferences
- Service-learning and community engagement projects
- Cultural celebrations and global awareness activities
- Career exploration with professionals in international fields
- The annual Global Issues Summit, where students collaborate, research, and present solutions to real-world global challenges
These experiences help students build leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while developing a deeper understanding of global issues and diverse cultures. Every enrichment is designed to prepare students to become informed, engaged, and globally minded leaders.
